If you’ve been following this series, you’ve come a long way. You know why going digital feels hard. You have a roadmap. You know the mistakes to avoid. And you’ve seen what’s possible on the other side.
So if you’re thinking, “Okay, I’m ready. I think this is my next step,” this one’s for you. Here’s exactly what’s inside Draft Your Digital Slopers, what you get, how it works, and how to know if it’s the right next step for you right now.
No pressure, just clarity.
A clear path, not a pile of tutorials
This isn’t a collection of tutorials you have to piece together yourself. It’s a structured, step-by-step process designed for people who understand garment construction and want to bring that knowledge into the digital world.
You’re not starting from zero. You’re building on what you already know.
The whole goal: get you from where you are right now to a complete digital sloper library that fits your body, in the program that works best for you. Nothing more, nothing less.
What you’ll draft
Wovens
- Women’s set: bodice, sleeve and skirt
- Men’s set: bodice, sleeve and pants (the pants work for women or men)
Knits
- Women’s bodice block
- Hip foundation
- Sleeves
- Pants
- Leggings
- T-shirt
Wovens and knits, women’s and men’s, every major garment category covered. Once you have these, you have a starting point for virtually anything you want to make.
Choose your program: CLO3D, Illustrator or Affinity
The course covers both CLO3D and Adobe Illustrator, so you can choose the program that makes the most sense for your goals:
- CLO3D: if you’re drawn to 3D simulation and want to see your garment come to life on screen.
- Illustrator: if you already work with Adobe products, want vector-based drafting, or want something a little more budget-friendly.
- Affinity Designer: works exactly the same way as the Illustrator lessons. Some menus and tools are just a little different.
You don’t have to choose before you enroll. You can explore both and decide as you go.
How the course works
- A follow-along video for every sloper. You’re never guessing what comes next. You work through each block with me, at your own pace.
- Checklists and written process guides for every sloper, so you have a clear reference to come back to every single time.
- A custom GPT for Illustrator students, built right into the course. If you get stuck on a tool or a step, ask it and get a specific answer.
- Lifetime access to every video, checklist and resource. Work through it at whatever pace fits your life.
Why no GPT for CLO3D? CLO3D has its own, and it’s amazing. CLO updates its software about every two weeks, and its assistant keeps up in real time. I want you to have the most current information, not something I built months ago that might be out of date.
“Can’t I just figure it out myself?”
Honestly? You definitely can. But here’s what that usually looks like:
- You spend hours searching for the right tutorial.
- You find one that covers part of what you need, then another that contradicts it.
- Something doesn’t work, and you can’t tell whether you did it wrong or the tutorial was outdated.
- Months later, you still don’t have your slopers.
This course exists so that doesn’t happen to you. Everything you need is in one place, in the right order, designed for this exact process. The investment is in your time as much as anything else.
“I’m not sure now is the right time.”
There’s never a perfect time. There’s always something else going on. And a lot of people who wait for the perfect window look back six months later wishing they’d started before they felt ready.
Because you have lifetime access, you can enroll now and start whenever you’re genuinely ready. You’re not racing a deadline. You’re just securing your spot and your materials so they’re there when you want them.
“What if I start and don’t finish?”
That’s a real fear, and it’s worth taking seriously.
The course is built so that every sloper is its own complete module. You don’t have to draft everything at once. Start with the block you want right now, finish it, and see how it fits. Then come back for the next one, or start manipulating that block into all the fun ideas you have.
Every time you finish a sloper, a garment or a new design, you’ve created something, even if you stop there. But I’ve found that a lot of people don’t stop there. That first sloper builds momentum.
Think like a pattern maker
This whole series has been about learning to think like a pattern maker, not someone who only follows other people’s patterns. You build from your own foundation, fitted to your own body, in the program you choose, with all the creative freedom to make the garments you want.
That’s who you’re becoming, and this is the next step on that path.
