Leisure 470 and 470 Pro Specs

Leisure 470 Pro
The main difference, I have found, between these two projectors is the setup. If you have a good setup, there is not much difference between the two projectors. You can see how I dialed in this sewing projector to cut out PDF sewing patterns.
The main setup of both these projects was very easy. After plugging in the power cord and connecting the HDMI to the projector and computer, all you had to do was turn on the projector and ensure that the correct input was selected.
That being said, the 470 Pro was so much easier to mount up on the ceiling—I would recommend the leisure 470 Pro over the 470!

Best combinations on Sewing Projectors and Mounts
Leisure 470 Projector and PM60 mount
I started with the PM60 Mount and the Leisure 470. The single attachment point on the Leisure 470 did not hold the projector at the correct angle to project the patterns onto the cutting surface. I was able to get the projector perpendicular with the assistance of a string. I found that the attachment point also began to pull out after tightening multiple times while trying to get the projector to remain perpendicular.
Leisure 470 Projector and PM20 mount
After trying only using the single point to mount on the Leisure 470 I was hopeful that a multiple point mount would hold the projector steady. I received the PM20 mount. After working with it and manipulating it, I am not liking how the mount is attached.
The Leisure 470 has 4 screw attachment points on the back however, only two are able to be used with the PM20 mount.
After trying many different options, this is the best configuration I came up with to attach the mount to the Leisure 470. I don’t like the angles that I have to use to make this mount work. I also find it odd that the lower left point cant be used at all because of how close it is to the foot.
Lastly, if everything else for this mount worked, I believe it would have to be mounted into a wall, not a ceiling. This would be a problem if you, like me, only had a ceiling area to mount the projector.
Leisure 470 Pro Projector and PM60 mount
The Leisure 470 Pro is lighter-weight and smaller. The single mount is close to the center of the projector. Both of these features helped with the mounting of this projector. Once the projector was tightened onto the mount, it stayed at 90 degrees with no problem. I was able to quickly get started in dialing in this projector.
Leisure 470 Pro Projector and PM20 mount
This projector and mount can not work together at all. The Leisure 470 Pro only has one attachment point.
What is my final Choice for Best Sewing Projector?
Whether you choose the Leisure 470 or 470 Pro, you will surely be happy with your purchase. Both of these sewing projectors are high quality and will help you create beautiful projects. If you’re looking for a projector that is easy to set up, I recommend the 470 Pro.
I would recommend the Leisure 470 Pro and the PM60 Mount. The Projector is light enough that the single-point mount works great. The mounting setup is quick and easy!!! The process of using the two projectors was very similar. Once I connected the 470Pro projector to my computer, I was very quickly ready to dial in the projector, so It was projecting the correct size pattern for cutting.
